Amy Lucas

Founder, USCCA Training Counselor and Certified Firearms Instructor

Amy is the founder and owner of Steel & Stilettos Firearm Training and an Official Partner with the USCCA. She worked in law enforcement for 20 years and served as a firearms instructor for the State of Michigan.

Her career includes time as an officer, field training officer, SWAT team leader and investigator on the Absconder Recovery Unit. Today she teaches basic handgun and CPL classes, works as an armed school officer and provides executive protection in Southeast Michigan.

She is committed to giving every student the tools to defend themselves and the people they love.

Mallory Brake

Krav Maga Black Belt, Level 2 Certified Instructor

Mallory is the first and only female Krav Maga black belt in Michigan. She has trained in Krav Maga for 10 years and taught for 6, and she served as Honor Guard at the American Warrior Society’s Firearm Instructor Development Course.

She is also a registered nurse of 12 years with a bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University, certified as an American Heart Association instructor and experienced as a unit educator in a medical ICU.

Jamie Headley

Instructor and Business Educator

Jamie has spent most of her career in manufacturing operations management and currently works with The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center as Director of Business Development.

She founded Dementia Services Group, a consulting company that helps families navigate the medical, legal and financial issues of cognitive impairment, and has taught marketing and business courses as an adjunct professor at Western Michigan University.
